Terms of Service

Terms for using YouTube Timestamp Generator, including source rights, processing credits, and exports.

Last updated: 2026-09-04

The service

YouTube Timestamp Generator helps you turn a public YouTube link or an authorized local video into an editable chapter list. Generated chapters are a draft for your review, not an automatic publishing action or a guarantee that YouTube will display chapters exactly as expected. You are responsible for reviewing the final text and publishing it to your own YouTube description.

Accounts and source rights

Keep your account credentials secure and tell us through the in-product support path if you believe your account has been used without permission. You may submit only public YouTube links and local media that you are authorized to access and process. Do not use the service to infringe copyright, evade access restrictions, process unlawful content, or interfere with the service or another person’s account.

Processing time and credits

The product measures video processing in credits: one credit represents one processed second. A trusted duration is rounded to whole seconds before a job begins. Eligible signup credits can provide a clearly marked opening preview of up to 600 seconds; a preview is not a claim that the remaining video has been analyzed. Paid plans and one-time packs display their included video time, billing frequency, and applicable availability before checkout. If a job reaches a terminal processing failure, its related credit reservation is reversed once according to the product workflow.

Payments and subscriptions

Checkout is handled by the configured third-party payment provider. You must provide accurate billing information and authorize the price and interval shown before purchase. Subscription processing time is granted on the schedule shown for the selected plan; one-time packs are available for the stated period. Changes, cancellations, payment disputes, and any refund eligibility are handled through the available billing and support workflows and may be subject to the payment provider’s terms and applicable law.

Acceptable use and availability

Do not attempt to gain unauthorized access, probe or disrupt the application, upload malware, submit misleading payment information, or use automated traffic that harms service availability. We may rate-limit, suspend, or terminate access for abuse, security risk, non-payment, or a material violation of these terms. We may change or discontinue features where reasonably necessary; we do not promise uninterrupted service or error-free AI output.

Ownership and liability

You retain rights in the content you are authorized to submit. We retain rights in the application, its software, and its branding. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or guaranteed chapter accuracy. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms as the service evolves. The date above indicates the latest version. For a question about an account, job, billing record, or these terms, use the in-product support path on the Contact page and include only the details needed to identify the request.
